Proper in Plaid

I've noticed a lot of people don't like having their picture taken so after a couple of turn downs I decided I would just sneak photo's of people from afar. Luckily for my 10x zoom I caught this fantastic back shot of a man with the best mullet I have seen in years. I loved his black boots, but this photo unfortunately does not do them any justice. Better luck next time.

Aaron my Shotwell Stop

Sunny Monday, decided to drop in to see what my friend Aaron would be rocking. He is always dressed nicely so I knew it would be a sure fire going in to Shotwell.
He was fashionably casual, mixing and matching pieces from American Apparel, shoes from his store, grey jeans from Contacts (an upscale denim boutique in SF) and a black sweater from Forever 21. If you're ever in the neighborhood, stop in and say hi to him. Shotwell located on 320 Grant St.

The One who got away..

This tasty treat was (I assumed) too busy to stop and get his fifteen minutes of fame with me and my camera so he and WHO he is wearing will unfortunately remain nameless.
I love his tailored 'just another day at the office' look. Seemingly effortless, his style is the epitome of pulled together. His shoes are shined, shirt is ironed and there is not a trace of lint on his velour blazer. iPhone and chic black portfolio? Check.
It leaves me to wonder, who is on the other line and what important documents is he so stylishly carrying?

Don from Kentucky

"I'm Don and I'm from Kentucky." he proudly says after he serenades me with a song he wrote with the harmonica. He is the sweetest morsel I have met and is out there doing his thing- in style.
I loved the suspenders holding up the olive green pleated trousers, he had a neck piece made out of a shoe string, the blazer he found on the sidewalk a few days earlier, and a piece of sequence fabric he made into a pocket square. He finishes off his look with a ray of sunshine from his gracious soul.
One man's junk is another man's treasure.
I hope to see you again soon.

My first taste

This is Chris, the first taste of the delicious SF morsels that are to come.. I caught him before his poetry reading on 16th + Mission looking quite daper. I ask if I could take a photo of him and his mostly all black attire and he humbley agrees, saying I am the third person who has asked him to pose today.
Where he shops? Anywhere vintage.
